Metal Production Lines
Raw Material Preparation: The metal production process begins with the preparation of raw material ores of suitable quality and size. The ores are ground, screened and mixed to obtain the desired chemical composition. At this stage, the quality, size and mixing ratios of the ores are of great importance.
Melting and Casting: The prepared raw material mixture is melted at high temperatures and turned into liquid metal. The melting process is usually carried out using specialized equipment such as electric arc furnaces or furnaces. The melted metal is poured into suitable molds and takes the desired shape.

Forming and Cooling: Metal is shaped and cooled after the casting process. The forming process involves shaping the metal after casting by inserting it into special machines or molds. After forming, the metal part is cooled in a controlled manner to achieve the desired mechanical properties.
Machining and Refinement: Shaped metal parts are machined and refined. Machining includes processes such as cutting, punching, bending or welding of metal parts. Refinement involves thermal or mechanical treatments to improve the mechanical properties of the metal.
Surface Treatment and Coating: The surfaces of metal parts are machined and coated with protective coatings. This stage protects the metal parts against corrosion and improves their aesthetic appearance. Surface treatment includes processes such as cleaning, sanding or polishing metal parts. The plating process involves painting, galvanizing or chrome plating metal parts.
Quality Control and Packaging: The metal parts produced are subjected to quality control and packaged accordingly. Quality control involves examining factors such as the dimensions, surface quality, chemical composition and mechanical properties of the product. Products that pass quality control are packaged appropriately and sent to the warehouse.
Each of these processes demonstrates the complex and integrated nature of metal production lines. The quality and durability of the end product is determined by the meticulous care taken at every step.
Machines Used in Metal Production
CNC Machine Tools: Computerized numerical control (CNC) machines are the basic machines used in metalworking processes. CNC lathes and CNC milling machines enable precision shaping of metal parts.
Laser Cutting Machines: Laser cutting machines are used for cutting and shaping metal sheets. Capable of precision cutting, these machines enable metal parts to be cut into complex shapes.
Presses: Press machines are used to shape sheet metal or sheet metal materials. Hydraulic or mechanical presses, especially used in mass production, enable metal parts to be produced on a large scale.
Welding Machines: Welding machines are used to join metal parts together. Machines that can use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and seamless welding are widely used in the assembly and fabrication of metal structures.
Precision Measuring Instruments: Precision measuring machines are used to measure the dimensions and tolerances of metal parts. CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), optical measuring systems and other precision measuring instruments are used in quality control processes.
Software Used:
CAD/CAM Software: Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software are used to design metal parts and plan manufacturing processes. CAD software creates 3D models of metal parts, while CAM software creates the NC codes required for production.
ERP Software: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software integrates business processes such as supply chain management, financial management, inventory control and customer relationship management of metal producing enterprises. ERP software is used to increase the efficiency of businesses and optimize business processes.
MES Software: Production Management Systems (MES) are used to monitor, manage and optimize production processes. MES software is used to increase the production efficiency of businesses, ensure quality control and optimize production processes.
PLM Software: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software is used to manage the processes from design to production of metal parts. PLM software is used to share design data, manage changes and improve product efficiency.
