Model Factory Opened in Bursa

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the Model Factory established in DOSAB, BTSO President İbrahim Burkay stated that Bursa is on the verge of a new breakthrough with its existing industrial potential and historical projects carried out under the leadership of the BTSO, in the opening ceremony attended by İlhan ÖZDEMİR, General Manager of trex, Industry 4.0 Digital Transformation Partner of Bursa Model Factory. Emphasizing that Turkey had to miss the previous 3 industrial revolutions defined as mechanization, mass production and automation, Burkay said: "Thanks to leading cities like Bursa, our country is determined and excited to catch Industry 4.0. We are implementing important projects in order to prepare the environment that will make us competitive in the new digital age where new concepts such as artificial intelligence and the internet of things significantly change the way our companies do business. In this context, our investments such as TEKNOSAB, SME OIZ and BUTEKOM make Bursa one of the leading cities of the new industrial revolution."


WILL GUIDE COMPANIES
Stating that the way for Turkey to reach its goal of being among the top 10 economies of the world is to be able to produce high technology, Burkay said: "We need a new success story with the strong development move we have realized as a country. Pointing out that it is of great importance for companies to adapt to change with dynamic ways of doing business and innovative tools, Burkay said: ''The Model Factory, which we have implemented in this context, will guide our companies in many areas from productivity increase to quality, lean production to digital transformation in partnership with the public-university-private sector. Our Model Factory, which was realized in Bursa, the industrial capital of our country after Ankara, will be a reflection of our country's national technology strong industry breakthrough with the machine tools and robot systems we provide from our domestic companies."

BUSINESSES WILL BE TRAINED
İbrahim Burkay expressed his full belief that Turkey will gain technological independence and move towards a stronger future with national and domestic moves in line with the vision of 2023, 2053 and 2071. Explaining that they continue to support Turkey's development with the Model Factory project, which they have developed for the training of enterprises, as well as qualified employment with projects such as MESYEB and BUTGEM, Burkay said, "I would like to thank our Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mustafa Varank and our government for supporting all our projects, especially the Model Factory.
MY CONFIDENCE DOUBLED
Vice President Fuat Oktay, on the other hand, emphasized his belief in Bursa in line with Turkey's goals and said that he trusted the business world of Bursa wholeheartedly. Underlining that this trust doubled after listening to BTSO President Burkay, Oktay said, "Bursa's industrialists have a proactive structure that always embraces innovation and adapts quickly. With this facility, our Bursa industrialists will develop and learn technology themselves. They will also adapt what they have learned and transfer it to production. This training center will serve not only Bursa but also the surrounding provinces. I believe that this facility will make a great contribution to our companies that will make high-tech production. I invite our industrialists to benefit from the Model Factory in the most effective way."
BURSA DESERVES MORE
Emphasizing that model factories provide the opportunity to perfect production processes through visual and practical learning, Oktay said that they take into account the strong industrial base in the region when determining the locations where these factories will be established. Oktay said, "Bursa deserved the Model Factory with its economic capacity, production and hard work. It also deserves more. With the Model Factory, we will carry the competitiveness of Bursa's industry to much higher levels. The new perspective that our model factories have brought to our industry has brought us one step closer to our goals of making Bursa a new technology production center."
